On Friday night, the Red Cross assisted a mother and four children after an apartment fire on West Boulevard in Belleville. Red Cross Helps City Man after Stolen Vehicle
 Volunteers provide assistance to one brother; second brother sent to hospital St. Louis, Monday, Dec. 26 2011 – The American Red Cross St. Louis Area Chapter dispatched a Disaster Action team to a North St. Louis duplex before dawn this morning after a stolen vehicle crashed into the building at the corner of Martin Luther King and Newstead. Two brothers in their 50s lived in the damaged apartment. One brother, sleeping in a street-side room, was sent to the hospital with injuries. The Red Cross is helping the second brother with food, shelter and clothing. Utilities to the duplex were cut off after the collision. |
